How much CASH can you deposit into a business bank account......?

without getting a red flag from the bank to the IRS? We have customers who like to pay in cash, but I was told this could lead to unwanted, uneccessary questioning from the IRS. Somewhere I heard 10K, but am not sure of this....?

As a former business owner, there is no limit to the amount of cash you are allowed to deposit. If your deposit includes a cash transaction over $10,000, it may be questioned. But as long as you can show the IRS a copy of the Invoice, customer account statement, or other proof that the deposit%26#039;s legit, you should not have any problems.

If you cannot substantiate a large deposit of cash into a bank account, do not deposit it.

If you have nothing from which to hide, you haven%26#039;t any concern.|||They will not confirm that, but banks are required to report large sums of cash. If you have a legit business that should not be a problem. Once you have a pattern, it will not result in any hassles. Have been depositing $20,000 per day for years and never been questioned.|||As much as you want it is your account if you are worried about it then I would guess the money may be a little questionable and if that is the case then don%26#039;t deposit it at all cause the IRS can audit you for anything at anytime. If everything is legit then just put it in.|||All transactions over $10K are automatically reported to the IRS, but banks also reserve the right (and are actually obligated by law) to report ANY size transaction that they deem suspicious.|||okay, its not a big deal. if you do deposit or withdrawal 10k or more, then you just have to tell the bank your occupation-- that%26#039;s it, they do all the work by filling out a currency transaction report. they do this so that they can prevent money laundering (mostly amongst aiding terrorists) etc. If your business is legitimate you have no worries. There are other algorithms banks use to determine structuring deposits so that they can tell if you are being suspicious or shady in the amounts you are depositing (just under 10k for several days). In this instance, you will not know if they are flagging/ reporting you by completing a suspicious activity report.|||My advice would be to pay as many bills as you can in cash so that it becomes somebody else%26#039;s problem.

Credit Card + Cash?

I%26#039;ve been arguing with a friend recently on where you can pay with a Credit Card and Cash together in a major retail store like Target or Best Buy.

i.e. Product price is $80. You use $60 from your credit card and you use $20 that you have in your pocket.

I don%26#039;t think it%26#039;s possible in a retail store but my friend says otherwise..

what do you guys think?

Credit Card + Cash?heart rate monitor

it definetly is possible.... you pay them the amount of cash you have first and then give them the credit card and the swipe it for the amount due. You can use multiple payments pretty much anywhere- the only thing you usually can%26#039;t do is use 2 credit cards from the same company (IE 2 visa cards or 2 American Express cards)

I%26#039;ve worked alot of places... you can do that anywhere, clothing stores, malls, resteraunts, anywhere...|||Yeah, it%26#039;s definitely possible. Where I work you can combine anything just about. The other day I did a 3 gift card, credit card, and cash sale. Ask each store directly, though. Some stores have different policies than others, I would assume.|||I don%26#039;t see why you shouldn%26#039;t be able to pay this way...although I wouldn%26#039;t necessarily try it with a new employee.|||i have done it many a time - i pay with cash first so it won%26#039;t put it all on the credit card.|||most retailers systems can accept almost unlimited means of payments on the same transaction. I know WAL*MART can take coupons, cash, check, debit card, credit card, and gift card payments ALL ON ONE TRANSACTION. All you need to do is specify the amounts on each method of payment--cashier does the rest.

carphone warehouse only gave the offer, your tarrif bill is with the phone service talk talk. i dont think carphone warehouse will take cash on talk talk%26#039;s behalf. get talk talks main address and send them a postal order for the amount due via recorded delivery, include a covering note with your talk talk phone number and customer account number. detail the circumstances on how you are unable to pay with normal channels and have to use postal orders. postal orders and postal stamps are classed as legal tender. lastly if they phone you and get sniffy about your payment plan tell them you want to cancel your subscription because you have a better deal with another provider. they%26#039;ll whistle a different tune then. i promise you if dog excrement was legal tender all isp and phone providers would accept it as payment.

im sure you can tmobile allow you to do this|||i think the best way is cancel your direct debt

and whine you receive your bill bay the bank or post office.|||Yes i work for carphone warehouse, and you can pay over the counter in any store. Or you could purchase a pre-paid credit card (available from money shop etc) and load money onto this and pay from there by DD or over the phone.|||I changed banks and my direct debit couldn%26#039;t be taken for two months i paid my bill at my local Carphone Warehouse shop.As long as you have your account or mobile number. You will be charged slightly extra on your bill though for paying this way.But im sorry i cant tell you if that will be a permanent arrangement

Is the "cash cab" a threat to public safety?

In the show cash cab, a cab driver asks his passengers questions. It is a game show on wheels. The taxi driver is asking questions while driving. Isn%26#039;t his divided attention a threat to the public safety of the citizens of New York?

Is the %26quot;cash cab%26quot; a threat to public safety?credit bureau

Yes, it is a threat to public safety, and I am sure that insurance for a cab on a show like this is tremendously high.

I have often wondered about this myself. I have a feeling he has a ear piece to help him but I%26#039;m not sure. Plus the traffic in New York goes pretty slow so I don%26#039;t think it%26#039;s much of a danger.|||Cab drivers need to talk to passengers to find out where they are going and take directions as neccessary. This too can be considered as %26quot;divided attention,%26quot; however it is necessary for Cab drivers to get their customers to their locations.|||It%26#039;s more of an issue of people getting out of a cab waving all that money around. Hey buddy, stickem up!|||The drive does have an earpiece and is feed information from the producers. It is no more distracting than having a bluetooth earbud and talking on the phone.|||Yes, its just another driver that is not paying attention to rules of the road.

Is Swiss Cash (HYIP) still in existence and are they real?

Swiss cash (HYIP) is mutual fund investment program

Is Swiss Cash (HYIP) still in existence and are they real?mortgage lenders

My impression is that they were a scam. They were not registered in Switzerland. The Swiss embassy says it was obvious that this company used the term %26quot;Swiss%26quot; in an illegal and fraudulent way to attract customers. The Securities Commission of Malaysia says they were operating illegally in Malaysia. No one can honestly offer rates that high. Use your common sense. They were a scam.

Like most High Yield Investment Programs (HYIP), they have disappeared after taking in a lot of people%26#039;s money. Of course you can find a lot of websites with names like Swisscash24.com claiming to be the original. If you want to lose more money, invest with them.

Should I cash in my retirement accounts to pay off my credit cards?

I am deep in debt because of bad choices I made in life, a divorce and being unable to work for several months because of a medical condition. I recently graduated and I am looking for a fulltime job. (Once I get a job, I do not believe I will earn enough to ever pay off my bills. I%26#039;m paying 32% interest on some of my credit cards.) In the meantime I cannot afford to pay the minimum balance on my credit cards. Should I go bankrupt or should I cash in all of my retirement accounts to pay off these bills? Thank you for your input.

Should I cash in my retirement accounts to pay off my credit cards?unemployment rate

NO!! You will get penalized about 40% for taking out the money.

You may not be bankrupt- Read: The Total Money Makeover for tips on how to deal with debt. You may need to sell everything (car, home, toys, etc) but you may not be bankrupt.

If you are paying alimony or child support it may be worth the money to file a motion to modify your order.

Should I cash in my retirement accounts to pay off my credit cards?

loan

No|||Depends on your motive. If it is simply to not have credit card bills the answer is no. If you would use the money saved to save then you might think about it. Do the math. How much interest are you earning? How much are you paying? Most people who do what you are considering end up in the same situation again except with less retirement and the same if not more credit card bills.|||Check into Consumer credit counseling. Me %26amp; my husband just set this up. It helps you pay off your debt quicker %26amp; with less out of pocket for you. They work with your credit card companies %26amp; come up with a plan for you. THey usually will reduce your interest rate (if yours is now 32% they may get it reduced to 10%). Taking money out of your retirement fund should be the last thing you do! Bankrpuptcy has helped alot of people. But, I think you should try to check out some sort of credit counseling. Go to the yahoo search engine %26amp; input %26#039;consumer credit counseling services%26#039;, it will most likely bring up some in your area. Good luck, being in debt is the worst thing. Especially after the problems you have alraedy had to deal with. I wish you the best|||The bankruptcy could impact your job search adversely. Call your creditors and tell them you have no choice but to file bankruptcy. They will be very eager to talk. Tell them you need your interest reduced to 10%, and the balance cut in 1/2. Be polite, but very firm|||No, not if you can avoid it. You will be penalized and pay a lot in taxes. I would only use this option as a last resort - see if you can draw a loan against your retirement plans and pay off the high interest credit cards.|||NEVER!

Avoid this at all cost1

Find other ways to generate revenue to pay off your debt!

Do not go bankrupt, you WILL get out of this mess in the long term!
