Failing your Lent commitments is simply giving in to physical temptations. God won%26#039;t hold it against you. Lent isn%26#039;t something you%26#039;re doing for him so much as you should be doing for yourself and your personal spiritual growth and focus on God. It is never too late to jump back on the bandwagon though and pick up where you left off. That%26#039;s what we call having %26quot;short accounts with God%26quot;: we mess up, ask for forgiveness and accept it, and then move on and don%26#039;t live feeling that guilt anymore because he%26#039;s already forgiven us for what we%26#039;ve done wrong and isn%26#039;t focusing on it either.|||The only way a person doesn%26#039;t go to Hell is by accepting Jesus by faith. Lent plays no part in it. It%26#039;s not biblical. Just a ritual.
