Lent alot of money to a brother who has never returned despite continual promises. i would now like to employ an agency/company or take legal action against him to recover the money.....horrible I know but so are the lies Ive been fed for over 6 years

Unfortunately, there%26#039;s no way to legally get the money back. That would insinuate that there was a legally binding contract between the 2 of you - one that clearly defined retribution. I%26#039;m guessing everything that passed between the 2 of you was verbal. In that case, it%26#039;s your word against his and he has no legal obligation to repay any of it. Now, if you have something in writing (like an email with a promise to pay), that%26#039;s another story. That proves that your brother accepted the cash with the understanding it was to be repaid. If you have nothing in writing, you%26#039;re SOL. Sorry!
